Ongoing

Fractional operations and AI lead

One or two days a week inside your leadership team. We run the roadmap from the review, build the automation, and answer for the results.

A roadmap only matters if someone owns it. Many growing businesses don't yet need a full-time operations director, but they do need someone senior who can take the plan, make the changes and be accountable for whether they worked.

As your fractional operations and AI lead, I work alongside your leadership team one or two days a week. We improve one function at a time, agree the measures before we start and review progress with the CEO every month. Everything is built in your systems and owned by you.

Working one function at a time keeps the change manageable. Your team is not asked to absorb everything at once, and each improvement is measured before we move on.

Who it's for

  • You have a clear roadmap, from a Health Check or full review, and nobody with time to deliver it
  • You need senior operations capacity but not a full-time hire yet
  • You want AI and automation built properly, with someone accountable for the results
  • You have tried change before and it faded once the project ended

What you get

  • A named lead for operations and AI, working alongside your leadership team
  • One function improved at a time, with agreed measures before we start
  • Monthly review against those measures with the CEO
  • Everything built in your systems and owned by you

Process

How it works

  1. 01

    Start from the evidence

    First two weeks

We begin with the findings from a Health Check or full review, so the work is based on how your business really runs. We pick the first function to improve.

  2. 02

    Agree the measures

    Before each piece of work

For each function, we agree what will change and how we will measure it before any work starts. That way we both know what success looks like.

  3. 03

    Build and change

Ongoing, one or two days a week

I work with your team to redesign the process and build the automation inside your existing systems. Your people are involved throughout, so they can run it afterwards.

  4. 04

    Review every month

    Monthly

A monthly review with the CEO against the agreed measures. When a function is done, we move on to the next one.

What changes

  • Someone senior owns the roadmap, so actions get done instead of sitting on a list.
  • Each function you improve has a measure, so you can see whether the change worked.
  • Your team ends up running the new processes and tools themselves, without depending on me.
